My current work explores the city. The excitement, the chaos, the loneliness, the adventure. Using manipulated digital imagery and the sounds of the places explored, I build a collection of visual and auditory cityscapes.
My latest pieces are of places from my childhood and youth. Specific areas of London where my grandparents lived, the street where I was born and the railway stations so familiar.
The Escalator | Transition and the Ordinary is part of a series of pieces created for the final project resolution for my MA Fine Art at UCA (Farnham). It explores the simple idea of the ordinariness of commuting. Shot with my simple iPhone 6 and edited using Premier Pro, I have multilayered imagery to create a piece that offers a new perspective on the everyday.
